Barbiturates can be routine forming. Tolerance, psychological and physical dependence may well occur with ongoing use. (See “Drug Abuse And Dependence” and “Pharmacokinetics” sections.) Individuals that have psychological dependence on barbiturates might boost the dosage or minimize the dosage interval without having consulting a medical pr
